Idol Fever!~ Censored!~ bleahz!~ Kawaii!~

(in the morning)

Today (20th June) is Yan Leng’s and Shazleen’s 2nd audition (with the four ‘funny’ judges) for Singapore Idol at Suntec Convention Hall. I woke up at around 8 a.m. but was feeling very lazy. Joined Pei Ying and Joy at City Hall MRT station at around 9.45 a.m. (I was late again, supposed to be there by 9.30 a.m. Sorry girls!)

To mom: Sorry ma! I lied to you. I did not have PW meeting, I went to support my friend for the audition. Sorry!

We went to Macdonald’s to have breakfast and I…err…lost my ‘image’ to the crew. After breakfast, we went to the Convention Hall to look for Yan Leng and deliver his Fillet-O-Fish. When we arrived at the 3rd level, one of security guard asked us to proceed into the “Family/friends waiting room”. (We were given the Singapore Idol sticker. Yay!) We waited in that freezing room for about 2½ hours before we got to see Yan Leng. While waiting, we chatted. We were directed to sit outside the waiting room. We saw ‘Dabian’ (this is one interesting name) sitting outside the audition room. He was waiting for his turn to enter that room. Excited us got ‘shy’ when the camera crew filmed us while we stood outside the audition room after Yan Leng went in for his audition. It was a whirl of emotions then: camera-shy; excited for Yan Leng and the whether-to-laugh-or-not-to-laugh feeling to Gurmit Singh’s jokes. (To Gurmit Singh: why am I a ‘moo’?)

It was yippee-yippee-yay when Yan Leng came out of that room. He made it through to the next round. He is going to Caldecott Hill. (I still think it is very low class compared to Hollywood) It is so like American Idol: the camera filming; the excited contestant that made it through to the next round; the ‘golden ticket’ to uhh…Caldecott Hill and the confession room.

To Yan Leng and Shaz: Congrats in passing this round of the auditions. Do your best for this competition ya! I will support you guys all the way! Will point and tell all my friends about you all when you guys appear on TV! (ohh…I am feeling soo excited now!)

(Later…)

We met up with Howie kor kor at City Hall MRT control station and there we headed for Bugis. At Bugis, we took neoprints together! (It is my err…3rd/4th time bah!) The photos turn out very nice and interesting. (ohh…I think I look good leh!) Then we went to the basement of Seiyu and had lunch. (oo…drinks’ stall aunties ehh…interested in me leh *wink wink) After lunch, it was shopping!

(Later in the evening)

Today is also Father’s Day! Father’s day = Grandpa’s day. I joined my family at my maternal grandparents house. Had steamboat for dinner. (ohh...Shu said I stink of the smoke after dinner) Then I hid in Shu’s room to play her PS2. I trained my characters for FFX. So excited when Tidus got his last overdrive, Blitz Ace but err…due to some storyline errors, it as Lulu who threw the ball instead of Yuna. (AH!!! Although I really loved Lulu, I just think it is WRONG for her to throw the ball!)

To Lishan: Miss the times we chatted about Final Fantasy in class. Take care~! Kupo!

Then it was home sweet home in papa’s cab.
